Gruner Veltliner

Gruner Veltliner translates as “Green Wine of Veltlin”. Veltlin was an area in the lower Alps during the 1600’s that is now part of Italy. This Austrian indigenous grape variety earned international love for its exotically flavoured wines with aromas which range from citruses to stone fruits, as well as its signature notes of white pepper and herbs. Gruner Veltliner wines tickle the palate with vivid acidity and leave a long tingly aftertaste.
