Liatiko

Liatiko is regarded as the rising star of Crete winemaking. It is an ancient indigenous Greek variety, dating back to 3-2nd Century BC. Traces of Liatiko grapes were found on the ancient presses discovered in the zone of Dafnes (Crete). Almost forgotten, Liatiko stepped out of the shadows in the last couple of decades. Liatiko makes characterful wines with aromas of red berries and Asian spices.
