Mavrotragano

Mavrotragano is a rare indigenous Greek variety originating from the island of Santorini. Mavrotragano was historically used for sweet wine blends. It became almost extinct by the 1970s and was later resurrected thanks to a handful of passionate winemakers. Today it is named among the most promising grapes of the Greek islands.
