Burja

Burja vineyards are located in northern Slovenia, in Vipava Valley, along the northern Adriatic coast. The Lavrenčičs family have been making wine here for three generations. In 2009, Primoz Lavrenčič decided to go solo and founded his own project. The winery is named after the ferocious ‘Burja’ wind which defines agricultural traditions of the region. Primoz follows organic and biodynamic principles, creating wines with a deep connection to this land.
