Rikars

This newly-established winery is a joint project, founded by an Italian winemaker and an Armenian entrepreneur. Rikars work exclusively with Areni Noir grape, exploring its various expressions. The grapes are sourced from very old vines grown in Vayots Dzor region, at high altitudes. Some of the wines are vinifed in 300-year-old amphorae (karases) which have been recovered from all over the country.
