Tillingham

Hidden in the East Sussex countryside, Tillingham is one of the very few natural wine producers in England. Ben Wallgate manages his vineyards according to organic and biodynamic principles. The wines are made with minimum intervention. Part of the grapes are fermented in qvevri, Georgian clay amphorae buried underground in a 19th century oast house. Made with a deep connection to land, these are truly authentic wines. 2020 is the first vintage produced of the estate-grown grapes.
