Vlassides

Sophocles Vlassides is a UC Davis graduate and a third-generation winemaker. The Winery building was completed in 2012 and is characterised by an unconventional design, which was chosen to represent Cyprus at the European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture – Mies van der Rohe Award in 2015. Vlassides vineyards span 21 hectares, and are home to both indigenous and international varieties.
