Havlabari Cellars Alazani White 2021
Georgia is historically famous for its off-dry and medium sweet wines, made of grapes which are picked later in the season, when sugar levels are peaking. Alazani is one of the most famous styles of Georgian naturally sweet wines, coming from the Kakheti region in the south-east. Here, the vines grow on rocky basalt soils and produce naturally low yields and high quality grapes.
Havlabari Cellars Alazani White shows bright aromas of apple, lemon, pear and quince, as well as elegant floral notes. These are distinctive features of Rkatsiteli, the grape behind this wine. This wine captivates the palate with a delicate sweetness. At the same time, refreshing acidity creates a perfect balance. Havlabari Cellars Alazani White is a great match for spicy flavourful food, such as Indian or Thai dishes.
