This is an outstanding fruit-driven expression of Mtsvane, an aromatic grape, native to the Kakheti region in south-eastern Georgia. Havlabari Cellars Mtsvane will delight your senses with expressive perfumed aromas of ripe apple, apricot, peach and tropical fruit coupled with a surprisingly fresh palate with a touch of minerality.

The grapes were hand picked from the old vines, grown on rocky basalt soils in the Kakheti region. Naturally low yields resulted in a complex and concentrated wine with an impeccable balance. Havlabari Cellars Mtsvane is a great aperitif as well as a strong match to a wide range of cuisines.

Mtsvane

Mtsvane Kakhuri is a white variety from the Kakheti region in the south-eastern Georgia. It may sound confusing but there are six different types of Mtsvane in Georgia, each being named after its origin (e.g. Mtsvane Kakhuri, Mtsvane Goruli etc). Mtsvane Kakhuri is an aromatic variety, making gorgeous flavour-packed wines, either solo or as part of the blend with Rkatsiteli. Also, it is often vinified in qvevri, making gorgeous orange wines.
