Description

This light summery white comes from a long-standing family winery in Attica. Two indigenous Greek grapes, Roditis and Savatiano, have been blended in proportion of 80% and 20% respectively. Kokotos Agrimi Savatiano-Roditis opens up with aromas of tropical fruits, white flowers and citrus fruits. The grapes were handpicked and manually selected for their highest quality; the wine was fermented in steel tanks. Fermentation ended in first and second use French acacia barrels at low temperatures to enhance the fruity aromas. 

Elegant in the mouth, with crisp acidity and a racy length, Kokotos Agrimi Savatiano-Roditis is a great aperitif. It creates marvelous pairings with salads and grilled fish and seafood.

Kokotos

Located in one of the most picturesque parts of Attica, on the slopes of Mount Pendeli, Kokotos winery makes delicious fruit-driven wines of great value and consistent quality. The terroir here is excellent for growing high quality grapes. The vines are planted at an altitude of 450 metres. The soil is poor in organic matter, made up of limestone and slate. The winery stands at the highest point of the estate, with gorgeous panoramic views.

Roditis

Roditis is a pink-skinned indigenous Greek grape. It is one of the most widely planted grapes in Greece, mainly grown in the Peloponnese region, as well as in Thessaly, Attica and Macedonia. Roditis is especially valued for its ability to maintain good acidity in hot climates, producing fresh and well-balanced white wines with generous lemon and orchard fruit flavours.
