Mildiani Private Selection Qvevri Kindzmarauli 2019

Kindzmarauli is a historically famous Georgian naturally sweet wine made of Saperavi grapes picked later in the season, when sugar levels are peacking. This is a unique example of Kindzmarauli which was fermented and aged in qvevri – traditional clay amphorae. The result is an expressive, complex wine with generous aromas of dark cherries, blackberries, notes of sweet spices and raisins. On the palate, firm but finely grained tannins and ample freshness create a perfect balance with elegant natural sweetness.
