Description

Made of a Georgian indigenous grape variety, Rkatsiteli, this wine is all about freshness and crispiness. The grapes for Mildiani Rkatsiteli were hand-picked from old vines grown in the Kakheti region in south-eastern Georgia. Gorgeous notes of juicy lemon, lime, pineapple and mountain flowers, along with vibrant acidity create a truly charming wine.

Mildiani Rkatsiteli makes a perfect match for grilled fish and seafood. It is also great on its own, as an aperitif. Mildiani brothers have been the driving force of modern Georgian winemaking since the 1990s. Initially a small family winery, it has grown to be one of the most renowned producers with vineyards in the best sites across the country, yet the winery remains family owned.

Julia Harding, Master of Wine:

Dusty citrus. Dry, chalky, straightforward, with some green fruits on the palate. Dry and chewy on the finish. Nicely textured for additional freshness.
