Description

Mildiani Tsinandali Reserve is a blend of two Georgian indigenous grapes, Rkatsiteli with a small addition of Mtsvane. Tsinandali is the name of the oldest and most famous Georgian appellations. Located in the Kakheti region of Georgia, Tsinandali is famed for its fresh and crisp whites with generous aromas of grapes, quince and wild flowers.

This Mildiani Tsinandali Reserve spent six months in French oak barrels achieving a complexity of flavours. Delicate notes of vanilla and cedar elevate the palate to a new level. However, the wine's signature freshness is still there. Indeed, a good Tsinandali wine is playful and vibrant, it tickles your palate and leaves a mouthful of flavours. And that is just what Mildiani Tsinandali Reseve 2016 does.

Julia Harding, Master of Wine:

Very pale gold. Showing the bottle-aged notes of honey and cedar. Complex, resiny flavours of a mature, complex white. Deep and long. Still showing the characteristics of the varieties but also the tertiary bottle-aged intricacies. Chalky-chewy texture; very good freshness and length.
