Description

This refined Armenian red wine comes from high-altitude vineyards, grown at up to 1,450 metres above sea level. The grape is Areni Noir, an ancient indigenous variety, known as the 'king of Armenian grapes'. Old Bridge Grand Reserve Areni Noir 2014 is a gorgeous expression, powerful and elegant at the same time. It shows lush aromas of fresh cherries and blackberries, along with exquisite notes of coffee, chocolate, spice and smoke.

Old Bridge Grand Reserve Areni Noir 2014 was aged in Armenian oak for 24 months. Further on, the wine was matured in the bottle, to achieve perfect balance of flavours and to soften the tannins. This is a refined Areni Noir with an elegant palate, silky tannins and a long finish. Old Bridge is ranked amongst the top boutique wine producers in Armenia. Areni Noir is their flagship wine, famed for its complexity and its tremendous ageing potential. Each vintage is a stunning expression of the terroir and of the respective year.
