Oxney Estate River Cottage Organic Sparkling

Oxney Estate River Cottage Organic Sparkling is a low-intervention sparkling wine. It was created as a collaboration between Oxney Estate and the neighbouring River Cottage. The second fermentation was carried out in the bottles, according to the traditional method. However no disgorgement or dosage (adding sugars) was done.

As a result, Oxney Estate River Cottage Organic Sparkling has a naturally cloudy finish and delicate tiny bubbles. It is bright and aromatic, bursting with aromas of orchard fruits. On the palate, it shows freshness and an impeccable balance, with generous flavours of ripe apples and a long pleasant finish. A beautiful sparkler, pure and precise.

The entire portfolio of new releases this summer, is amazing and these wines are made with unmistakable care and attention. They are, prepare yourself for a much-maligned expression, definitive crowd-pleasers, in flavour terms, but there is serious detail here, too.
