Description

Made of Rkatsiteli, an ancient Georgian grape, this aromatic white wine was aged in French oak achieving a creamy texture and complex aromas. Ripe bouquet of tropical fruits is nicely complemented by delicate notes of vanilla and coconut. On the palate, Vaziani Rkatsiteli Reserve is vibrant and lively, with an impeccable balance of flavours.

Coming from one of the most prominent Georgian producers, Vaziani winery, this beautiful wine was born at the estate's own vineyards in Kakheti region. The grapes were manually harvested and underwent a rigorous selection process. Vaziani Rkatsiteli Reserve is a great companion to chicken, creamy pastas, seafood and vegetable dishes.

Vaziani

This family-run winery was established in 1982 in Kakheti – the oldest and the most prominent Georgian wine region. Since then, the winery had been passed to the next generation and is now run by the founder's sons, Irakli, Mikhail and Barbale Iashvili. Vaziani winery tends 120 hectares of vineyards on the left bank of the Alazani river. The winery's focus on modern, fruit-forward wines made of native Georgian grapes brought them international recognition and multiple wine awards.

Rkatsiteli

Rkatsiteli is a white grape variety from the Georgian region of Kakheti. It is one of the most ancient grape varieties in Georgia. Legend has it that Rkatsiteli was the first vine planted by Noah after the flood. Today it is the most cultivated variety in the country. Rkatsiteli makes light and crisp whites, as well as complex full-bodied qvevri wines.
