Description

This elegant fortified wine is made of late harvested, sun-dried grapes of Muscat Vardabuyr. This rare Armenian variety is famous for its gorgeous aromas. In fact, the name Vardabuyr can be translated as “aroma of roses”. Light amber in colour, Voskevaz Muscat Rosali shows charming notes of tea rose petals, acacia and honeysuckle. These are followed by seductively sweet flavours of dried apricots and lemon peel, with an exquisite hint of marzipan.

Voskevaz is Armenia’s oldest and most prominent winery and this is one of their finest dessert wines. Pair Voskevaz Muscat Rosali with blue cheese or foie gras for an utterly delicious food and wine combination.

Julia Harding, Master of Wine

“Mid gold. Honeyed, toffeed apricots. Super-sweet, intense, caramelised apricot with an afteraste of butterscotch. Deep, sweet, rich and caressing.”
