Armenia has a long standing tradition of making pomegranate wine, known as ‘noor’ (pomegranate in Armenian). Voskevaz Pomegranate 2020 is a beautifully crafted high quality fruit wine made of fresh organic pomegranates. The fruits come from the most southern part of Armenia, Syunik region, renowned for its pomegranates since ancient times. Voskevaz Pomegranate has a beautiful brick red colour and pronounced aromas of juicy pomegranate. The palate is lush and refreshing, with soft tannins, delicate sweetness and a vibrant acidity.

Pomegranate wine has long been famous for its health benefits. It is incredibly versatile when it comes to food and creates amazing pairings with flavourful Persian and other Middle Eastern cuisines.

The oldest operating winery in Armenia, Voskevaz will soon be celebrating 100 years since its foundation. In Armenian, “Voskevaz” means "golden bunch". Once upon a time, it was Soviet Armenia’s most prestigious winery. Nowadays, Voskevaz is family-owned, producing exquisite wines of indigenous varieties. Voskevaz were among the first wineries to revive the Armenian tradition of karases, large clay amphorae.
