Voskevaz Vanakan is a unique, limited edition wine. The blend was created using premium cellar reserves of several successful vintages, with some as early as 2005. Each of these vintages was aged in Armenian oak from 12 to 24 months prior to blending. The result is an incredibly complex wine. Voskevaz Vanakan enchants with a myriad of aromas: black plum, black cherry, blackberry, dried fruit. These are echoed by exquisite notes of tobacco, leather, forest floor, and the list goes on. In a word, it is a mesmerising wine. The only down side of this exclusive once-in-a-lifetime release is its very limited quantity.

Voskevaz is the oldest and the most prominent Armenian winery with an exquisite range of wines made of indigenous varieties. This is their one time release which can never be recreated due to the scarcity of wines used in the final blend.

Voskevaz Winery

The oldest operating winery in Armenia, Voskevaz will soon be celebrating 100 years since its foundation. In Armenian, “Voskevaz” means "golden bunch". Once upon a time, it was Soviet Armenia’s most prestigious winery. Nowadays, Voskevaz is family-owned, producing exquisite wines of indigenous varieties. Voskevaz were among the first wineries to revive the Armenian tradition of karases, large clay amphorae.

Areni Noir

Alfa and omega of the Armenian winemaking, Areni Noir, or simply Areni, is the signature grape of this country. It is also one of the world's most ancient grape varieties – more than 6,000 years old! Today this unique variety is responsible for some of the best Armenian reds. Elegant, complex and fresh, these wines burst with aromas of red fruit, which has led to Areni being nicknamed the “Armenian Pinot Noir”.
